Continue to add more petals in this way, focusing on the same area, the goal being that the colors always stay wet.

Step 7

Rinse your brush. Using the clean water from your second pot, paint a petal on the upper part, touching a pink petal. The paint will diffuse very slowly in the water.

Step 8

Add other petals with water using this same process, always on the same area, rinsing your brush well each time.

Step 9

Use a lighter pink to paint a few smaller, further-spaced petals at the top of the flower.
